BLAZE OF GLORY (Kerr 2001) 36" tall. Midseason. ((Prom Queen x Lady Friend) X King's Ruby) A Dykes Medal winning hybridizer pronouced this seedling to be a new shade of red. Opening a darker red than it closes, the standards are lighter in the center. The falls are similarly patterned with the addition of golden hafts beside the tangerine beards.
